The objective of this project is to develop a standardized vocabulary (also known as "schema", "data dictionary", or "ontology") for annotating IT Services consistent with ITIL® v3 glossary and semantics.
The project scope includes also the development of set of ontology extensions to address some specific services domains.
This project was born from the E-Artspace need to define a uniform language for describing its service architecture and the services provided by some customers.
ITSMO is the result of many years of work in designing, operating and optimizing IT services in many companies like E-Artspace, H3G, Mediaset, Alten, Vodafone and many others.
ITSMO is designed to work together with other ontologies like Goodrelation, FOAF and Dublin Core.
